Aguirre Department

The department Aguirre located in the southeast of the province of Santiago del Estero in northwestern Argentina and is one of 27 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Department of Belgrano, on the east by the province of Santa Fe, on the south by the Departamento Rivadavia and to the west by the departments Mitre and Salavina.
