Quebrachos Department

The department Quebrachos located in the south of the province of Santiago del Estero in northwestern Argentina and is one of 27 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered on the north by the departments Salavina and Atamisqui, on the east by the department of Mitre, on the south by the province of Córdoba and the west by the department of Ojo de Agua.

The capital of the department Mitre is Sumampa.
