Alberdi Department

The department Alberdi is located in the northeast of the province of Santiago del Estero in northwestern Argentina and is one of 27 administrative units in the province.

It is bordered to the north by the Departamento Copo, on the east by the province of Chaco, to the south by the departments and Moreno Figueroa and to the west by the departments Jiménez and Pellegrini.

The capital of the department is Alberdi Campo Gallo.
