Ailyn
Pilar Giménez García ( * 29 May 1982 in Barcelona), known as Ailyn, is a Spanish singer. She is since 2008 the singer of the Norwegian gothic metal band Sirenia.

Biography
Ailyn started her musical career at the age of 15, when she began to study solfege and classical singing at the Albéniz School of Music in Barcelona. Your first public appearance was in 2002 in Cornella de Llobregat as part of a charity event.
Her first recording contract she received as a member of Charm, a female vocal trio that afforded Japanese music. After 2003, the first album Konnichiwa was published Ailyn began to work on a solo career. She left Charm 2004 after a couple of tracks for the Kimagure Orange Road anime series were completed.
In September 2005, she represented Spain at the International Pop Music Festival Canzoni Dal Mondo and was among the 10 finalists. A little later she received awards at the International Song Festival in the Canary Islands, among others Puedo Sentir, a cover version of the song Fall in Love by Lena Park.
In May 2007, she participated in the Spanish version of the talent show X Factor in the category of 16 - 25 years part, left in the fourth mission from though.
On 9 April 2008 it was announced that Ailyn was chosen from among 500 applicants as the new singer of the gothic metal band Sirenia. Her debut was in 2009 on the album The 13th Floor. It was followed by two more studio albums as well as numerous concerts in Europe and South America. In addition, Ailyn joined with Sirenia on at various festivals such as Wacken Open Air 2011.

2011 acted as guest singer Ailyn on the album Death & Legacy of the Austrian metal band Serenity.
