Kimagure Orange Road

Kimagure Orange Road (Japaneseきまぐれ オレンジ ☆ ロードKimagure Orenji rodu ) is a manga series by Izumi Matsumoto, which appeared from 1984 to 1987 and comprises about 3200 pages. It was implemented as an anime.

The romantic and comic story aimed primarily at a younger, male audience, that can be assigned to the shōnen genus. The series is about a love triangle between the main character, the indecisive Kyosuke Kasuga with a extrasensory perception, Madoka Ayukawa, a lively girl with a turbulent past, and Hikaru Hiyama, Madoka's best friend. Action

The fifteen year old Kyosuke Kasuka (春日 恭介Kasuga Kyosuke, spoken by Tōru Furuya ) moves to a new city, as the "Power", the force is responsible for his supernatural abilities, was discovered. The manga series was released in March 1984, individual chapters in the weekly Japanese manga magazine Shōnen Jump, which at that time had a circulation of over four million, was the highest-selling manga magazine. Anime films

The Studio Pierrot produced an anime television series based on the manga by Izumi Matsumoto. This consists of 48 episodes, each with a run length of about 25 minutes. It was directed by Osamu Kobayashi, wrote the screenplay Sukehiro Tomita. On the television station NTV 48 Episodes were erstausgestrahlt of 6 April 1987 to 7 March 1988.

This was followed by eight more episodes, which were 1989 and 1991 as an original video animation (OVA ) released directly to VHS, as well as two movies, which appeared in 1988 and 1996.

The television series ran under the title Max et Compagnie several times on French television. The first broadcast took place in 1990 in the animated division Youpi! Novels

Under the title Shin Kimagure Orange Road (新 きまぐれ オレンジ ★ ロード) published by Shueisha from 1994 to 1997 three novels to manga series.
