Air Rum was a charter airline from Sierra Leone with its headquarters in Amman, Jordan.

History

The airline was founded in 2002 by Mohammad Abu Sheikh (President and General Manager).

Air Rum led exclusively by charter flights. She was on the list of the operating bans for the airspace of the European Union.

Incidents

  • On 20 September 2005 a mistaken occupied with football fans from Gambia machine before on the way to Lima lack of fuel, so that one had to make an emergency landing in Piura. On this day Gambia played in the U17 World Cup in Piura against Qatar. It came to secure the machine and investigations of the Peruvian authorities.
