Akademie Schloss Solitude

The Akademie Schloss Solitude is a public foundation that promotes mainly by younger artists living and working scholarships. Fellows live and work in furnished studios that are located in the Uffizi, and cavalier buildings of Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. The Academy is funded by grants from the State of Baden -Wuerttemberg.

Scholarship

Since 1990, the Akademie Schloss Solitude awards at intervals of 24 months stay Scholarships of varying length (between 3 and 12 months ). Applications are open to artists of all nations of the following categories: Architecture, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Design, Literature, Music / Sound and Video / Film / New Media. In the field of Video / Film / New Media 2013 two scholarships for filmmakers ( fiction or documentary ) will be awarded in cooperation with the MFG Film Funding Baden- Wuerttemberg from the year. Furthermore, there are people from the fields of the humanities (including social sciences), the exact sciences, economics as well as in chess art for a residential grant under the program, apply science & business.
