Akane Yamaguchi

Akane Yamaguchi (Japanese山口 茜, Akane Yamaguchi, born 6 June 1997 in Fukui Prefecture ) is a Japanese badminton player.

Career

Akane Yamaguchi won gold in 2012 with the Japanese team and bronze in women's singles at the Junior Badminton Asia Championships. The Osaka International 2012 she placed fifth in singles. In the same year she took part in the Singapore International, left there but after recovering from qualifying in the first round of the main draw from. In the Japan Super Series 2012, she finished ninth in double and 17th in singles.
