2012 Japan Super Series
The Japan Super Series 2012 was the eighth tournament of the BWF Super Series 2012 badminton. It was held in Shibuya, Tokyo, held from 18 to 23 September 2012 at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The prize money was U.S. $ 200,000. China pulled out all the players due to security concerns caused back through the territorial disputes in the South China Sea. Taufik Hidayat announced his resignation to the Indonesia Open 2013.
