Ã…ke Sandgren
Åke Sandgren ( born May 13, 1955 in Umea, Sweden ) is a Swedish - Danish film director, screenwriter and film producer.
Life
Sandgren studied from 1976 to 1979 Philosophy and Film Studies at the University of Stockholm. He then moved to Denmark, where he studied from 1979 to 1982 at the Film School Den Danske Filmskole Director. Since graduating, he worked for both the Swedish and the Danish film. His most successful films include the drama The Miracle of Valby, The spin and Fluerne på væggen, for which he was in each case with the Danish Film Award Robert and Swedish film award Guldbagge either awarded or nominated for it.
