Aladdin

Aladin ( from Arabic علاء الدين, DMG ʿ ʾ ad - Dīn Alā to German " noble / sublimity of faith" ), is the main character of the oriental tale Aladdin and the magic lamp from the fairy tales of 1001 nights. Similar to Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves one now believes that " Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" by the translator Antoine Galland history collection has been added. Its source was the Maronite Christian Hanna Diab from Aleppo.

Action

Aladin is a young man who is charged by a magician to find an oil lamp in a magical cave. After the sorcerer attempts to cheat him, Aladdin keeps the lamp itself. He discovered that in the lamp a genie plugged in, the lamp has to fulfill the wishes of the owner. With the support of helpful spirits Aladdin becomes rich and powerful and marries the beautiful daughter of the Sultan.
