Alamo, Nevada is a small town in Lincoln County in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is located on U.S. Route 93 and is the largest town in the Pahranagat Valley.

The site comprises farmland with a total area of 78.4 km ². 2010 Alamo had 1080 inhabitants. Thus, the population density is 14 inhabitants / km ². The main source of income is agriculture.

Alamo (Spanish for poplar) was founded in July 1901 by the four farmers Fred Allen, Mike Botts, Bert Riggs and William Stewart of Fredonia, Arizona. In 1905 the post office was inaugurated. Was named the site of the vegetated with poplar floodplain in the area.
