Alan Mulally

Alan Roger Mulally (* August 4, 1945 in Oakland, California ) is an American engineer and manager. He is currently the President and CEO of Ford Motor Company.

End of 2008, Alan Mulally met with the CEOs of GM ( Rick Wagoner ) and Chrysler (Robert Nardelli ) before a committee of the U.S. Senate to ask the U.S. government to avert the impending insolvency rescue money. They were due to misguided model policy, criticizing years of lobbying against stricter consumption guidelines ( U.S. CAFE legislation) and the arrival violently with their own corporate jets.

Mulally was previously the executive vice president of Boeing and the CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA ). Mulally began his career at Boeing as an engineer in 1969. Him be attributed to a large extent the restructuring at BCA and the resurgence of Boeing against Airbus until the mid- 2000s.

Mulally graduated from the University of Kansas in 1969 with a Master of Science as an aerospace engineer. He also earned a master's degree in Management (SM ) from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1982.

He has three sons ( Christopher, Timothy, and Peter ), two daughters (Amanda and Molly ) and is married to Jane " Nicki " Connell born.
