Albert Anton, Prince of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt

Albert Anton of Schwarzburg- Rudolstadt ( born March 2, 1641 Rudolstadt, † December 15, 1710 ibid ) was 1662-1710 reigning Count of Schwarzburg- Rudolstadt and belonged to the House of Schwarzburg.

Life

Albert Anton was born the only son of Count Ludwig Günther von Schwarzburg- Rudolstadt and his wife Emilie. He was raised by his mother in the forms of shaped by the virtue Lichen Society religiosity. As of 1657, the writer and tutor Ahasuerus Fritsch taught him.

1662 he took over the government of his mother. Three years later he married the famous poet of hymns Emilie Juliane, born Countess of Barby. With her he had two children. With the Imperial Prince letter of June 2, 1710 finally his son Ludwig Friedrich I was raised to the imperial princes. This was still alive Albert Anton and was not communicated to the outside.

Albert Anton died on 15 December 1710 in Rudolstadt. His son succeeded him as regent in the same year and led from 1711 the title of prince.
