Alberto Ormaetxea Ibarlucea ( born April 7, 1939 in Eibar, Guipúzcoa, † October 28, 2005 in San Sebastián) was a Spanish football player and coach. He was active mainly at Real Sociedad.

Ormaetxea began his football career at left-back in 1958 at SD Eibar and moved in 1962 to Real Sociedad. The team was relegated División in the pre-season from the Primera and reached only in the season 1966/67, with the participation Ormaetxeas the resurgence. Ormaetxea played for Real Sociedad to 1974 before moving into coaching.

As a coach, he was first at Real Sociedad assistant to Rafael Iriondo, Andoni Elizondo and Jose Antonio Irulegi before he replaced as head coach in the 1978/79 season the latter.
