Aleksey Dmitrik

Alexei Vladimirovich Dmitrik ( born April 12, 1984 in Slanzy ) is a Russian athlete. Dmitrik specializes in the high jump. His biggest success came Dmitrik at the 2011 World Championships, where he won the silver medal.

Career

The Youth World Champion of 2001 started at the Indoor Athletics Championships 2007, but could there not qualify for the final. The European Athletics Championships 2010, he ended with a skipped height of 2.26 m in seventh. In athletics season 2011 Dmitrik jumped at the meeting in Huelva, Spain 2.35 m and sat down at the top of the world rankings in the high jump. A month later he improved his personal best in Cheboksary to 2.36 m. With skipped 2,35 m he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Daegu.

At the European Indoor Championships in 2013 Dmitrik won the silver medal in Gothenburg.

Alexei Dmitrik is 1,89 m tall and has a competition weight of 74 kg.
