Aleš Jindra

Aleš Jindra ( born June 12, 1973 in Plzeň ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Playing career

Jindra played in his youth for Škoda Pilsen. In the 1993/94 season, he completed his military service at VTJ Karlovy Vary, and then returned to Pilsen. There he came in the Erstligasaison 1994/95 on three stakes and moved in summer 1995 to the then second division Chmel Blšany.

There Jindra could win a regular place, and came in four years to 94 games in which he scored four goals. In summer 1999, the defender returned to his original club Viktoria Plzen and helped the club with eight goals in 26 second-division games for promotion to the Gambrinus Liga. In early 2001 Jindra left his hometown and joined for the second half of the season 2000 /01 the then second division club FK AS Pardubice. Jindra then moved to the then third division FC Augsburg. In the first half of the season 2007/ 08 from the Czech Republic for the SV Etzenricht played in the Bavarian League center.

Coaching career

In early 2008 began Jindra his coaching career as an assistant with the Czech second division club FK Banik Sokolov. In January 2009 he took over as coach of the Romanian club CFR Cluj. At the same time undertook Cluj previous manager of FCU Politehnica Timişoara, Dušan Uhrin, as sports director, as is allowed to work for two clubs during the same season, according to the rules and regulations of the Romanian League 1, a coach does not. On April 5, 2009 Jindra and Uhrin were fired at CFR Cluj. Since the season 2010/11 Jindra is assistant coach at Sparta Prague.
