Alessandro Pagani

Alessandro Pagani SMM ( born January 3, 1937 in Torre Boldone di Bergamo ) is an Italian priest and emeritus Bishop of Mangochi.

Life

Alessandro Pagani joined the Congregation of the Montfortains in, put the profession on September 8, 1959, received on 13 March 1965, the ordination. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 3 April 2007 to the Bishop of Mangochi.

The Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi, Nicolas Girasoli, consecrated him on 26 May of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Tarcisius Gervazio Ziyaye, Archbishop of Blantyre, and Thomas Luke Msusa SMM, Bishop of Zomba.
