Álex Márquez

Alex Márquez ALENTA (born 23 April 1996 Cervera, Spain ) is a Spanish motorcycle racer.

Career

From 2010 to 2012 Márquez went in the Spanish Championship. With 24 points, he was in 2010 eleventh overall in the 125cc class; 2011 behind teammate Álex Rins runner-up and 2012 before the German Luca Amato eventually master. At the same time he competed in this year his first appearances in the Moto3 class of the Motorcycle World Championship.

2013 Márquez goes for the team Estrella Galicia in the Moto3 category again at the start. At the Grand Prix in Indianapolis, he was second behind winner Álex Rins for the first time on the podium at the Grand Prix of Japan at Motegi, he won his first race.

Personal

His older brother is in the MotoGP class taking off Marc Márquez.
