Alexander Cyril Stepney ( born September 18, 1942 in Mitcham ) is an English football goalkeeper.

Career

The goalkeeper had unsuccessful tryouts at FC Fulham. Instead at Fulham to be under contract, he played for amateur club Tooting & Mitcham United. In 1963 he was hired as an amateur from FC Millwall. Two months after his first amateur contract he was given a professional contract because of good games. In 1966, Stepney to Chelsea.
