Alex von Schwedler

Álex Christian von Schwedler Vasquez (short Álex of Schwedler; born February 17, 1980 in Santiago de Chile) is a Chilean football player of German descent and citizenship.

Career

Von Schwedler began his career in the youth from Universidad de Chile. After he was appointed in 1999 as a central defender in the first team, he remained until 2002, when his youth club. Through his dual citizenship, he took the right as an EU citizen to move to Italy to Bari. After a year in Bari, he joined the Austrian Bundesliga for a short trip to Traun to FC Superfund. After the year in Austria, he returned to Bari to go back a year later to Austria for Red Bull Salzburg. In the season 2006/2007 worked by Schwedler at Marítimo Funchal in Portugal. By June 2009, available from Schwedler at Belenenses Lisbon expired under contract until his contract. He previously worked in Cyprus Alki Larnaca. Von Schwedler was from mid-October 2010 in the squad of Chile's record champions Colo Colo, but for which he played no official game. After his contract expired in January 2010, he found no new club. Half a year later the then Chilean first division side CD Everton de Viña del Mar took him under contract by which he descended at the end of the year in the Primera B, where he now runs with the number 3 jersey.
