Alexander Bader

Bader attended the University of the Arts in Berlin, later studies in piano and studied in addition to Manfred Price and Peter Rieckhoff clarinet. After the conclusion of the orchestra diploma he moved to the University of Music Karlsruhe in the soloist class of Wolfgang Meyer.

1990 was admitted to the German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen. With their Bläsersolisten he was recognized in 1998 for a recording of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Midsummer Night's Dream with the Echo Klassik Prize. In 2002 he moved first solo clarinetist at the Komische Oper in Berlin. He also played as a guest musician at the Bavarian State Opera and the Munich Philharmonic.

Since 1 May 2006 Bader is a member of the Berlin Philharmonic and has been part of the 2006 /07 to the Scharoun Ensemble. In addition, he devoted himself with ensembles such as Concentus Musicus Wien, the Balthasar -Neumann- Ensemble or the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin of historical performance practice on period instruments
