Alexander Frenkel

Alexander Frenkel (Ukrainian Олександр Френкель; born March 4, 1985 in Kirovograd, USSR, now Ukraine) is a German boxer and former European cruiserweight champion.

Life

Born in the Ukraine Frenkel lived since 1991 in Germany and grew up in Würzburg; He currently lives in Berlin and began at the age of 13 years with the boxes. His amateur balance was 55 wins in 60 fights. He boxed as an amateur including for Kickers Würzburg and BC ring free Mülheim, is three times the Bavarian champion and won the 2006 Dolomite Cup in Austria.

Professional career

His professional debut denied Alexander Frenkel on 23 September 2006. His coach Ulli Wegner is, his manager Wilfried Sauerland. In his 14th professional fight in February 2008, he defeated Nuremberg in the 43 -year-old U.S. citizen Arthur Williams, the late 1990s, briefly IBF world cruiserweight champion, by technical knockout in the fifth round.
