Wilfried Sauerland

Wilfried Sauerland ( * February 29, 1940 in Wuppertal ) is a German boxing promoter and founder of the eponymous Boxstalls Sauerland Event.

Sauerland Event managed the mid-1990s by boxer Henry Maske or as Axel Schulz breakthrough and is still the largest organizer of professional boxing events in Germany. 2010 Wilfried Sauerland was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Career

Sauerland boxing camps have several branches:

Frankfurt ( Oder) under Manfred cloud and Rudi Fink (2003 ), Cologne under Ulli Wegner (1996-2004 ) and Berlin under Ulli Wegner, since 2004.
