Alexander Riazantsev

Alexander Vladimirovich Rjasanzew (Russian Александр Владимирович Рязанцев; born September 12, 1985 in Moscow ) is a Russian chess master.

Rjasanzew learned to play chess at age six from his father. Later he was trained by Mark Dworezki. Rjasanzew graduated in the game of chess at the Moscow Russian State University of Physical Culture. He won the U12 World Youth Championship in Cannes ( 1997) and the U14 European Youth Championships in Mureck (1998). Rjasanzew conquered or occupied top positions in several tournaments: 1st place in the Open Stork Young Masters in Hengelo (2005 ), 1st place in the Championship of Moscow ( 2006) and 2nd - 4th place at the 62nd Russian Championship ( 2009, ). He won the Masters tournament in Biel (2010).

Rjasanzew received in 1999 the title of International Master in 2001 the title of Grand Master. Since 2011 he has been coach of the Russian national team.
