Alexandre Bolduc

Alexandre Bolduc ( born June 26, 1985 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2013 with the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Alexandre Bolduc began his career as a hockey player in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL, where he was active from 2001 to 2005 for the Huskies de Rouyn -Noranda and Shawinigan Cataractes de. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 in the fourth round as a total of 127 players from the St. Louis Blues. After this did not oblige him in the subsequent period, signed the center in the summer of 2005 at the Manitoba Moose, for which he has since then played in the American Hockey League. In his first two seasons in Manitoba he ran in parallel for the farm team of the Moose, the Bakersfield Condors on in the ECHL.

On 2 July 2008 Bolduc signed as a free agent a contract with Manitoba Partners Vancouver Canucks, for whom he made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League during the 2008/09 season. By the end of the season 2010/11 the Canadians played alternately for the Canucks in the NHL and the Moose in the AHL.

On 2 July 2011, Bolduc agreed to a contract for one year with the Phoenix Coyotes. In July 2013 he signed a one year contract with the St. Louis Blues.

Internationally

For Canada Bolduc took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2003, in which he became world champion with his country.
