Alfonso Herrera

Alfonso Herrera Rodríguez ( born August 28, 1983 in Monterrey, Mexico) is a Mexican singer and actor. Mainly, he was known for performances in telenovelas. He is also a member of the music band RBD.

Life

Although Herrera, who is called by his friends poncho, as a young boy dreamed of being in a pilot school in San Antonio, Texas pilot, he showed an early interest in acting also. Therefore, he went to the Centro de Educación Artística, a drama school of the Mexican television station Televisa. After his education he worked in plays like Las Brujas de Salem ( 2001), Como matar a un ruiseñor (2001) and Antigona (2001) with. Since he played in the film Amar te duele in 2002, he worked as a television actor, among other things, Clase 406 and Rebelde.

On 13 July 2006 Alfonso won the " Esta Buenismo " - and " El De Mejor Estilo " Premios Juventud Awards at the awards show, which aired on Univision. There he won prizes with his band RBD.
