Alfred Partikel

Alfred particles ( born October 7, 1888 in Goldap, East Prussia; † ( lost) October 20, 1945 in Ahrenshoop ) was a German landscape painter.

Life

From 1905 to 1907 attended the Art Academy particles Königsberg. He then worked as a freelance artist in Munich, Weimar and Berlin ( 1911). He was a member of the Free Secession and the artists' colony by Max Pechstein in Nida.

From 1914 to 1919 he was a soldier in the First World War. Then he had his studio in Ahrenshoop. In 1929 he was appointed professor at the Academy of Art Königsberg. With his students, he undertook study trips through East Prussia. When he learned Ingrid Andersson et al. In the period 1930-1931 he was a guest at the Villa Massimo in Rome. Alfred particles was one of the greatest performers of the East Prussian countryside, particularly the Masurian hilly area south of his hometown Goldap. From 1937 his works were regarded as degenerate art. His artworks depend, inter alia in the East German Gallery in Regensburg, at the City Museum Königsberg in Duisburg and at the Kunsthalle Mannheim.

In February 1945, he fled by bicycle from East Prussia to Ahrenshoop. He disappeared on the mushrooms. His body was never found.
