Alfta

Alfta is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Gävleborg and the historical province of Hälsingland. He belongs to the municipality Ovanåker and is about fifteen kilometers east of Edsbyn.

The town lies on the River Voxnan and on the railway line Orsa - Bollnäs that here, however, is no traffic. The riksväg 50 performs Alfta.
