Alice Borchardt

Alice Allen O'Brien Borchardt ( born October 6, 1939 in New Orleans, † 24 July, 2007 Houston ) was an American writer, known for her fantasy novels with historical background.

Alice Borchardt was born in New Orleans. She grew up as the oldest of four sisters, including the writer Anne Rice, on.

Borchardt was trained as a nurse and worked until 1998 in this profession. Early 1990 she began work on her first novel. Devoted (Eng. The walls of Chan Talon ) published in 1995 and plays as his successor Beguiled in France in the 10th century. It also issued a werewolf trilogy and the next two volumes about the Queen Guinevere from Arthurian legend.

Alice Borchardt was married and lived in Houston. She died on 24 July 2007 at the age of 67 years to cancer.
