Career

Pronk began at the age of six years with ballet classes. She made the training to be a ballet teacher, led her career then but no further. At 18, she began working in the Amsterdam night clubs.

The first and only album of the group, Who Needs Guitars Anyway?, Was released on 11 April 2000 in the UK. The first single from the album of the Better Off Alone achieved many top 10 places in the European charts.

Subsequent single releases were not able to build on the success of the first hits, except in Britain, where they were all in the Top 20. The group is often seen as a one- hit wonder.
