Alice Ghostley

Alice Margaret Ghostley ' ( born August 14, 1924 in Eve, Missouri, † September 21, 2007 in Studio City, Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress.

Life

Alice Margaret Ghostley was born at the station of Eve, Missouri, where her father was working as a telegraph operator. She grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma. After her high school, she studied acting at the University of Oklahoma. She broke off her studies to concentrate on her theater career. In 1952 she debuted on Broadway, where he played regularly until the mid- 1960s.
