Alice Pickering

Alice Pickering (* 1860 as Alice Simpson, † February 18, 1939 ) was an English tennis player.

Pickering took from 1895 to 1901 at the Wimbledon Championships in part. In 1896 she won the All- Comers final against Edith Austin, but lost in the Challenge Round of the defending champion Charlotte Cooper with 2:6 and 3:6. The following year she again succeeded in gaining the All- Comers final, but there they lost against Blanche Bingley Hillyard.

In 1896 she won the doubles competition at the Irish Championships at the side of Ruth Durlacher.
