Alicia Vikander
Alicia Amanda Vikander ( born October 3, 1988 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish actress and dancer.
Life
Vikander is the daughter of actress Mary Fahl Vikander. She studied from 2004 to 2007 at the " Royal Swedish Ballet School " in Stockholm and played at the Gothenburg Opera in various musicals.
Vikander has starred in several television productions, including in documentaries and short films. She became known for her role in the Swedish soap opera " Andra the Avenue ".
For her role in her first feature film " The inner beauty of the universe " (orig. " Till det som är vackert " ) she received the Stockholm Film Festival 2010, Rising Star Award for Best Young Actress, and was in 2011 with the contracts awarded by the Swedish Film Institute Guldbagge Award best Actress Award.
At the Berlinale 2011 Vikander the " European Shooting Star Award " was awarded. Due to the greater awareness they increasingly also received international role offers. In 2012 she starred opposite of Jew Law and Keira Knightley in the British- French production Anna Karenina.
The Swedish edition of Elle magazine named in January 2012 for the best-dressed Swedish woman.
