Allen West (tennis)

Allen Tarwater West ( born August 2, 1872 in Mobile, Alabama, † 1952) was an American tennis player.

In the Summer Olympics 1904 in St. Louis Allen West won with his compatriot Joseph Wear in tennis men's doubles bronze medal after the semi-final later Olympia Second Alphonzo Bell and Robert LeRoy in three sets 6:2, 1:6 and 2: 6 were inferior. After his career, he worked in the stock market as a broker.
