Alliance Airlines is an Australian charter airline based in Brisbane and a subsidiary of Queensland Airline Holdings.
History
The establishment and operations of Alliance Airlines in August 2002. Queensland Airline Holding acquired the estate is no longer active Flight West Airlines, which was founded in 1987 and liquidated in 2001. Alliance had a Wetleasing contract with Norfolk Jet Express, until it was liquidated on June 4, 2005. Alliance led air operations continue for a week, then took over Qantas flight operations with a machine of Air Nauru.
Destinations
Alliance Airlines specializes in long-term charter contracts for the mining industry and the governments of Australian states as well as the military and on an ad - hoc charter flights and aircraft leasing. For example, fly from Townsville to the mining sites Phosphate Hill, Century Mine, Gove, Cloncurry, Mt Isa and Cannington Mine. From Brisbane Alliance flies to Gove, Telfer and Ballera. Charter flights are also available from Brisbane to Canberra and the Australian Defence Force uses Alliance for charter flights to East Timor and the Solomon Islands.
In addition, Alliance Airlines also operates routes on behalf of QantasLink, including from Brisbane to Mackay and Gladstone.
