Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe

The Alliance of Independent Democrats in Europe ( Alliance des Independants Démocrates en Europe - ADIE ) was a European political party of the right-conservative spectrum. Together with the EUDemokraten, the United Kingdom Independence Party and smaller parties it formed the Independence and Democracy Group in the European Parliament. Chairman ADIE was Patrick Louis of the French party Mouvement pour la France (MPF ).

ADIE was dissolved with effect from 31 December 2008. Beginning of February 2009 announced its three MEPs ( Philippe de Villiers and Paul -Marie Coûteaux of the MPF and Georgios Georgiou of the Greek LAOS ) instead of their membership in the newly established European party Libertas.
