Allison Beckford

Allison Beckford ( born May 8, 1979 in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica) is a Jamaican athlete who specializes in the 400 - meter dash and 400 - meter hurdles. It is also used in the 4 x 400 - meter relay their country.

Sporting successes

Beckford took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in part, but could not because of an injury on the qualifying rounds of the 400-meter competition beyond. It was not used at the Olympics due to injury in the Jamaican 4 x 400 - meter relay, which was later to win the bronze medal.

Your biggest success Beckford by winning the relay bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in Paris in 2003. She had to admit defeat ( 3:22,91 min ) together with Sandie Richards, Ronetta Smith and Lorraine Fenton in 3:22,92 min only the teams from the USA ( 3:22,63 min) and Russia.
