Allmusic

Allmusic (previously All Music Guide, shown allmusic ) is a company operated by All Media Guide in Ann Arbor, Michigan, from database containing commercial music releases. Many musicians here will find biographies, discographies, and a listing of the participants ( credits). There are also links to other similar musicians and music- historical considerations to individual genres. The contents are only available in English. Core business is the licensing of the information to companies such as Microsoft, AOL, Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. The metadata are used by some programs, including some versions of Windows Media Player automatically retrieved from the internet.

History
