Allwinner Technology Co., Ltd.. is founded in 2007 Chinese fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Zhuhai in Guangdong Province. The company also has a technology center in Shenzhen as well as a logistics center in Hong Kong. The company mainly produces single-chip systems (SoC ), ARM -based video processors and single-board computer. These are used single-chip systems in smart phones, tablet computers, set -top boxes, video cameras and video systems in the automotive sector.
Known single-chip systems are the single core Allwinner A10, based on the Cortex A8 and the multi-core processors Allwinner A20 ( dual core) and Allwinner A31 ( s ) (Quad Core ), each with Cortex- A7 design. The Allwinner A10 is used among other things to the Cubieboard and the A20 on the Cubieboard2 and the Cubietruck.
