Alois Kaňkovský

Alois Kaňkovský ( born July 9, 1983 in Bělkovice - Lašťany ) is a Czech racing driver and World Champion.

Kaňkovský is a versatile drivers on the road and in the short-term as well as endurance events on the track. He was in Fiorenzuola double European junior champion on the track in the Team Pursuit ( with Michal Kesl, Libor Hlavac and Stanislav Kozubek ) and the 1000 -meter time trial, team sprint, he finished second and in the points race for third place in 2001. At the European Championships in the following years he took more podiums. Since 2007, Alois Kaňkovský starts increasing in road racing, where he scored several successes in smaller races.

In the web world championships in 2007 in Palma de Mallorca was Kaňkovský Omnium world champion and third in the two - team approach ( Madison ) with Petr Lazar, with whom he became Czech champion in Madison together in 2008. The two started several times together in Six Days.

Twice Alois Kaňkovský took part in the Olympic Games, in 2004 in the sprint and in the 1000 meter time trial and 2008 in a two - team approach ( with Milan Kadlec ), without being able to be placed on the front ranks.
