Alter Ego (band)

Alter Ego is the name of a music project, Elling Wuttke by Jörn and Roman wing. Your productions move in the broad field between techno, electronica and experimental music. Both also produce under another project name as Acid Jesus, Holy Garage and Sensorama.

History

Jörn Elling Wuttke and Roman wing since the late 1980s have been working as a production team and both come from Darmstadt. In 1993 she founded with DJ Ata and Heiko MSO, the three labels Ongaku, Klang Elektronik and Playhouse.

Also in 1993, the project Alter Ego was founded. In 1994 the first Alter Ego EP on Sven Väth's label Harthouse, with the duo moved within the scene much attention. Already in 1995, released their follow-up album Decoding the Hacker Myth. 1997 was released on Hard House with Absolute the last alter ego single. 1999 appeared the track Betty Ford, who was one of the biggest club hits of the year. The track appeared in 2004 brought the couple Rocker 2005 Dance Music Award for the best track.

In 2004, she produced the theme song of the VIVA fashion magazine Inside.

Roman Flügel was able to record as a solo artist a success. His club hit Gehts yet? 2005 and 2006 was a very successful Electro House Instrumental. The short and monotonous structure had a major influence on the development of the genre. Many internationally known DJs released remixes, including Steve Angello.
