Altern 8

Altern 8 was a British techno band from the early 1990s by Mark Archer and Chris Peat, which emerged from the 1989 founded Project Nexus 21. They were considered icons of the early rave and hardcore scene in the UK. Mark Archer was also involved in other music technically similar projects such as Bizarre Inc..

Through their music videos and live performances, they established the then typical rave outfit with protective suits and dust masks they previously einrieben with Wick Vaporub to freshen breath and to intensify the effects of ecstasy.
