Alto do Pina was a township ( freguesia ) of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. Covering an area of 0.83 km ² lived in their 10,337 inhabitants (as of 30 June 2011).

History

The municipality was created on February 7, 1959 as part of an administrative reorganization of the urban area of ​​Lisbon by separating areas of the municipalities Arroios, Penha de França and Beato.

In the fall of 2013, the municipality was merged together with the neighboring community of western São João de Deus to the new community Areeiro.
