Alto Paraguay Department

Alto Paraguay ( Guaraní: Alto Paraguay ) is one of 17 departments in Paraguay.

History

The current Alto Paraguay was created in 1992 from the merger of the old departments Chaco and Alto Paraguay, it corresponds to the 1945 existing county Olimpo.
