Álvaro Morata

Álvaro Borja Morata Martín (born 23 October 1992 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player. His preferred positions are those of the middle or outer striker. He is currently under contract at Real Madrid.

Career

Álvaro Moratas first major station as a junior was Atlético Madrid, in whose youth teams he was active from 2005 to 2007. After a year at the Madrid suburb of Getafe Club of the then 15 -year-old finally moved in summer 2008 in the youth of Real Madrid. After a season in the age group Juvenil C (U -17 ), he rose in the season 2009/10, first on to Juvenil A (U -19) and then to the third team Real Madrid C. This year he won the Copa de Campeones, the Spanish U-19 club championship.

In summer 2010, Morata was part of the squad of Real Madrid Castilla, the second team of the club. His first game in the Segunda División B, he played 29 August 2010 against FC Coruxo. His debut in the first team came on 12 December 2010 in a league match against Real Zaragoza, as he came on in the 88.Spielminute for Ángel Di María. Also on Cup victory of the " Royal ", he was involved with an insert in the second round at 8-0 against Levante UD. In the season 2011/12 he came again to a game in the professional squad. In the Second Team Real Madrid Castilla Morata acted this year mainly as a left winger, while his teammate Joselu took over the attack center. His team reached the summit in the Segunda División and the championship title in the Segunda B, where he contributed 15 goals in the group phase and three more in the promotion playoff.

For the 2012/13 season Morata was included in the squad of the professional team. On 11 November 2012, he scored his first goal in La Liga as he scored the 2-1 win against Levante UD after coming head.

National

Morata disputed with Spain U- 17 World Championship 2009, where he was able to achieve two goals in four games and win the bronze medal with his team. In the U-19 Championship 2011 he took the title with Spain by 3-2 in the final against the Czech Republic and was also the top scorer with six goals in the tournament. His debut in the U -21, he celebrated during the final round of the European Championship 2013. Morata denied a convincing tournament, came in all five matches and was used with four top scorer of the competition. The Spaniard sat down in the final with 4-2 win over Italy through and took the fourth time European champion in this age group.
