Amargosa Valley is a settlement in Nye County on U.S. Highway 95 in the U.S. state of Nevada. The place on the outer northwestern edge of the Nevada Test Site has about 1,300 inhabitants (as of 2005) on an area of 1.41 km ² and an average elevation of 805 m.

The settlement Amargosa Valley was named after the river Amargosa River, which flows through the high valley of the same name.
