Amicale Française

Amicale Française, often equipped with the aforementioned article and Le called L' Amicale Française, was a football club based in Mexico City. He participated in the 1914/15 season in the capital League and took part in the 1921 Campeonato del Centenario, where he advanced all the way to the semi-finals and only lost in extra time against Asturias.

History

The club was founded in mid 1911 by students at a religious school. All players in the early years were French or born in Mexico the children of French immigrants. In the early years all encounters were standardized internally disputed or you stepped in friendly matches against other teams. At tournaments Amicale Française took no part in it. That changed in the 1914/15 season, when the club for the first time took part in the operation of the Game League Mayor del Distrito Federal. After the season, which ended in fourth place (out of six teams), the team fell apart because some of their players returned to France to pull for their country in the war.

So it was years later reserved Emilio Spittalier to meet the team new life. Spittalier originally came to Mexico in November 1910 and was taken immediately after the club was founded by Amicale Française in the team. He, too, had moved to France in the war and made immediately after his return to Mexico to rebuild the fallen apart team.

The newly designed team of "French" was still a majority, but not exclusively, from the French. Through her ​​passionate and fair play, the team is well-liked procured by the public. Nevertheless, the association could not permanently establish itself in 1924 disbanded. His best players move mainly for CF México and FV Germania.
