Amos Arbour

Amos Arbour ( born January 26, 1895 in Waubaushene, Ontario, † December 1, 1943 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player who in his playing days from 1915 to 1924 among others for the Montreal Canadiens, Hamilton Tigers and Toronto St. Patricks in the National Hockey League has played.

Career

Amos Arbour began his career as a hockey player with the Montreal Canadiens, for he 1915/16 his debut in the National Hockey Association was in the season and with whom he won the Stanley Cup prestigreträchtigen right away. He then played a year for their league rivals, the army team Toronto 228th Battalion, before he was drafted in 1917 with his regiment in the First World War. After the war, the attacker went back to Canada in 1918, where he was awarded a contract as a free agent with his former club from Montreal, who is now in the National Hockey League, the successor to the League of NHA, played.

On November 26, 1921 Arbour was submitted along with Harry Mummery in exchange for Sprague Cleghorn to the Hamilton Tigers, for which he was on the ice for two years before he in the season 1923/24, for the Toronto St. Patricks in 21 games four points scorer, including a goal scored. Following this season the winger finished his career at the age of 29 years.
