Amparo Muñoz
Amparo Muñoz Quesada ( born June 21, 1954 in Vélez -Málaga, Spain, † February 27, 2011 in Malaga, Spain) was a Spanish actress and 1974 Miss Universe selected. In 1973 she was Miss Spain. She starred in numerous films.
Life and career
Amparo Muñoz was known because it was in the 1970s, together with prominent Spanish actors like Nino Bravo, Pedro Carrasco, Rocío Dúrcal, Rocío Jurado, Camilo Sesto, La Pandilla front of the camera in Spain. After their victories in the beauty contests Miss Spain and Miss Universe, she had a successful career in show business. It was 1974, the first Spanish woman who was able to get the title "Miss Universe", wrote this after a dispute with the organizers but back in the same year.
In 1979, Muñoz was in the comedy Mama will be 100 years old ( Mamá cumple cien años ) by Carlos Saura to see. In 1982, she played in Todo un Hombre ( He's all a Man ) and Let's talk about it later ( Hablamos esta noche ) by Pilar Miró or with family by Fernando León de Aranoa 1997. In 1999, she starred in A Paradise Under the Stars ( Un paraíso bajo las estrellas ) and 1979 in El Tahur, which was released on DVD in 2003. Furthermore, Amparo Muñoz was a successful model. Because of illegal drug possession, due to unpaid bills and disputes with a producer, she had to repeatedly deal with the justice system.
